Remote Connection to Server Fails

We use Remote Powershell to connect to servers to install and configure services - such as Spread or Endur/Findur runsites.

In rare occasions, you may see the following error:

To correct this, you need to make sure that the winrm remote service is configured on the target servers.

To do this you need to run the following command in a command prompt as Administrator, and follow the prompts:

Now make sure that the Windows Service is running:

The best way to make sure this is covered is to add it to the VM Template that you build Appservers from if appropriate.
