Groups

Groups are created, amended and deleted through the Groups grid in Reference Data Manager. Access to emdash Applications are controlled by Groups that are mapped to physical AD Group for authentication. Groups for emdash should first be created in the emdash AD OU (Organizational Unit) and then replicated in the Groups reference data manager.

If a Group when allocated to an environment is not present in the AD Groups, emdash will automatically create it through a workflow process.

A Group consists of

Group Name - Group label for AD
