There are 3 levels of logging within emdash™ to help Admins and Users diagnose issues if things go wrong. This section is related to the Technical Log.
emdash™ captures events that cause errors within the operation of the application within the Technical Log. This is accessible from the Admin Tools menu for administrators
Selecting that menu item brings up the technical log overview page that gives a brief message outline, the user that was running the process when the error occurred and a timestamp of when it happened:
As per the Jobs Log, clicking on the arrows icon gives some more information about the error:
In the above example, a user could not access the database. This should be passed on to the DBA to check that the database is online and the user has access.
