Environment Refresh

We have the ability to refresh an environment from one to another. This is true for a number of applications, not just Endur.

The drop-down lists are dynamically generated, so you will see the Applications that are allocated to the Source Environment only, and the latest backup files for the database allocated to that application in the environment.

Normal Users can only perform an Environment Refresh for Target Environments they are assigned as Owner or Delegate. Source Environments can be restricted through System Wide Setting DEFAULT_ENV_REFRESH_SOURCE by defining a single Source Environment.

The above is an example of a refresh of Endur from PROD_STAGING_NO_HIST into SANDBOX01 using the latest backup file.

You can also specify a manual backup file to use. And have the option to back up the target database before the restore takes place.

You will be asked to confirm your selection before the Environment Refresh request is submitted to the workflow.
