Defects and enhancements will be provided according to our Release Management process and schedule:
P1 Defects/Patches
Urgent defects will be delivered via a patch release of emdash™. This will provide the customer with their current build with the defect fix applied on a specific branch. These will be delivered outside of the regular release schedule.
Client Specific Enhancements
Client-specific enhancements will be delivered via a patch release on a specific code branch. These will then be merged into the head of branch for delivery in the next major release. These will be delivered outside of the regular release schedule.
Major Releases
Major releases will be delivered twice per year and will contain the bug fixes and enhancements that have been worked on through that period. They will be accompanied by a Release Note and installation/upgrade instructions. We recommend setting aside time to regression test these releases in a test environment before upgrading the Production site. The Emdash Team would be available to help with this as a separate Statement of Work as required.
Upgrades
Clients on emdash™ versions older than 24 months will not be covered under this support process. This requires clients to upgrade to the latest version to continue support under the agreed support process.
Support of emdash™ versions older than 24 months can be provided under a T&M basis on request.
